Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES. This Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 am Eastern time on January 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time on January 23rd, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). This Sweepstakes shall not be published without the written permission of the Sponsor.
2. SPONSOR. The Sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Matrix Basement Systems, Inc., located at 3050 N Kennicott Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
3. ELIGIBILITY. Matrix Basement Systems, Inc. WMU vs. Omaha Ticket Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin who are twenty-one (21) years of age as of the date of entry. Employees of Matrix Basements (“Sponsor”), DLI Properties, LLC (“Prize Provider”), and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, and administrative, advertising and promotion agencies, gaming license partners, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Sweepstakes, and any members of these persons’ immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children and each of their respective spouses, children and siblings), and persons living in the same households of each of the above (whether legally related or not) are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Proof of residency, employment and age may be required to enter the Sweepstakes or receive a prize. Entrants must fully comply with the Official Rules and, by entering, represent, warrant, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions shall be binding and final in all respects relating to the Sweepstakes.
4. HOW TO ENTER. Each eligible entrant may enter the Sweepstakes either through Sponsor’s website, in person, or through designated social media platforms. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Any attempt by an entrant to exceed this limit, including through the use of multiple accounts or identities, will result in disqualification and all associated entries will be void. Use of automated systems or bots to enter is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

The entry form requires the participant's full name, phone number, email address, and consent to receive marketing communications from Sponsor and the Prize Provider in compliance with Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin consumer protection laws.

1. GRAND PRIZE. One (1) grand prize consisting of two (2) tickets to the WMU vs. Omaha game at GVSU on January 31st (the “Grand Prize”) will be awarded to the prize winner. Total fair market value (“Prize Value”) of the Grand Prize awarded will be $550. There are no other prizes. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

No substitution of prize is allowed except by Sponsor in its sole discretion due to prize unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances. Any additional expenses related to the prize, including but not limited to transportation, parking, food, and lodging, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

1. DRAWING/ODDS. Within forty-eight (48) hours after the Sweepstakes Period concludes, the prize winner will be selected by Sponsor in a random drawing from all eligible entries using a random number generator associated with a list of eligible entrants. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries earned for the Sweepstakes. The prize winner will be notified via phone and email by Sponsor within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing. If the prize winner does not respond within twenty-four (24) hours, or if the prize winner is unable to attend the game on January 31st, a new prize winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
2. VERIFICATION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS. The potential winner may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Publicity Release (where not prohibited by law) (collectively, the “Affidavit”). As part of the verification process, the potential winner may also be required to provide valid proof of identity and residency (such as a current driver’s license or state-issued ID). In the event that: (a) the potential winner cannot be reached for whatever reason after a reasonable effort has been exerted or the notification or Affidavit is returned as undeliverable; (b) the potential winner declines or cannot accept, receive, or use the prize for any reason; (c) the potential winner is determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to be ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or receive the prize; (d) the potential winner cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules; or (e) the potential winner fails to fulfill the Affidavit-related obligations, then the potential winner shall be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion from among the remaining eligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification and Affidavit procedures in connection with the selection of an alternate potential winner, if any.
3. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, in whole or in part, and no substitutions or cash redemptions are permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prize. In the event of prize unavailability, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. By participating in the Sweepstakes, the potential prize winner consents to the use of their name, address, likeness, biographical information, and voice in advertising, promotion, and publicity worldwide without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
4. PRIVACY. Participants’ personal information will be collected, stored, and used only for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and for marketing purposes directly related to Sponsor. All personal information will be stored in a secure database and used in compliance with applicable privacy and consumer protection laws.

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants understand and voluntarily consent to receive promotional and marketing communications from the Sponsor and Prize Provider, subject to their respective privacy policies. Prize Provider’s privacy policy can be found at www.matrixbasements.com/privacy-policy. Entrants may request to opt out of sharing personal information or limit the use of sensitive personal information by contacting marketing@matrixbasements.com. Opting out will not affect an entrant’s odds of winning.

1. TAXES. The prize winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. If required, Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099, and the winner must provide all necessary tax information.
2. CONDITIONS. The Sweepstakes is conducted in English. In the event of any discrepancy between these Official Rules and any promotional materials, these Official Rules shall govern. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to have violated these Official Rules. Entrants release Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability related to participation or prize use.
3. NO LIABILITY. By participating, entrants and prize winners agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates from any claims or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or use of any prize.
4. USE OF DATA. Sponsor will collect and use personal data in accordance with its privacy policy located at www.matrixbasements.com/privacy-policy.
5. WINNERS LIST. To obtain the name of the Grand Prize winner, send a request by email by January 31st to marketing@matrixbasements.com.
6. LIMITATION ON LIABILITY. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical failures, unauthorized intervention, human error, or any injury or damage arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or use of any prize.
7. DISPUTE. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the prize winner resides. All disputes shall be resolved individually and exclusively in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois.
8. CONSTRUCTION. Headings are for reference only. Terms such as “including” shall be interpreted as inclusive. “Affiliate” and “Released Parties” are defined as set forth herein.
